Like most small businesses in Polk County, we started out doing periodic side jobs when they came up. As the request for assistance increased, we realized there is a need for more professional IT services in the county. Given our backgrounds in IT and our passion for electronics, we knocked around the idea of providing IT support at a more professional level. As we took on more, the considerations became talks, which lead to the filing of an LLC. Now we get to look forward to growing with businesses of the area and providing our town and county with a much-needed service.
Meet Josh, co-owner and technician of PCIT. He holds a Bachelor's in Management Information Systems and has ten years of experience providing IT support and repair services at both a personal and professional level.
Whether it is troubleshooting a problem or building a custom desktop, Josh enjoys the critical thinking and puzzle solving that comes with being an IT technician. When he isn't working on computers or learning something new, he enjoys painting diecast vehicles and figures.
Say hello to John, co-owner and technician of PCIT. He is a tech-savvy professional with 4 years of desktop IT support experience and over a decade of Linux server management expertise. During his 12 years with IBM, John developed a strong commitment to optimizing systems and enhancing user experiences in diverse technical environments.
When he isn't optimizing a system or brainstorming improvements for users, John spends his free time learning about new systems and features entering the field.
